I recently stayed at Hotel Rural Da Quinta Do Silval in Vale de Mendiz for a weekend getaway. The location was stunning, with beautiful vineyards and a peaceful atmosphere. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and clean, with nice toiletries provided. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The food, especially the breakfast and dinner, was excellent and cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The staff were all really helpful and very professional. The hotel's location was quiet, close enough to three different wineries. It also was to the nearest alternative restaurant.

We were in awe of the stunning views surrounding the hotel, nestled in the heart of the wine country. The atmosphere was so peaceful and tranquil, making our stay incredibly relaxing. We also had the privilege of meeting Senhor M., a renowned vintner, who took the time to educate us about his award-winning wines. The breakfast each morning was delightful, with fresh breads, cheeses, and meats. The hotel even went above and beyond by mailing my forgotten computer tablet back to my home in Colorado. we had an enjoyable and memorable experience at this hidden gem in Portugal's Douro Valley.

Excellent location in the heart of Pinhão valley with amazing views. Excellent facilities with comfortable and very clean quarters and very helpful staff. Genuine flavors from the region found at the table!

While the food was a little bit pricey, the quality was also very high!

Excellent location in the heart of the Douro wine market region, surrounded by vineyards and nature - Nice choice for a quiet / relax staying. The pool facilities are very good, right in the middle of the valley (Vale de Mendiz) with beautiful views. The staff was extremely careful and dedicated (Carlos Martins). The room was very clean and the breakfast a good value for money. I highly recommend this hotel.

This mention is not about the hotel but the information (directions) on how to get there, which can be very difficult for the first time.

here i spent 1 night and enjoyed being in this place. the hotel was clean and gorgeous, had panoramic views of vineyard lined hills. the location was nice and quiet - within short walking distance to everywhere i wanted to go. what's more, it was not far from the vineyard as well as porto. my room included a mini fridge bar, a work desk and an electric kettle. everyone was extremely helpful and the breakfast was large.

The location of the hotel on top of a hill provides an exceptional view over the vineyards surrounding it. One can enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains and the wineries from the balcony next to the restaurant. The hotel room was spacious and had a nice bathroom facility. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many options of food to choose from.

The service at the hotel was not up to the mark.
